What a weekend!
The upcoming weekend is a big one for Limerick Roller Girls. We are holding freshmeat tryouts on Saturday (starting at 1pm), and on Sunday London Roller Girls coach Ballistic Whistle will be with us for a session (starting at midday), along with Jessica Rammit and Shref from the Dublin Roller Girls.

A players-eye view of our first bout
The Dockyard Destroyers took on the Dublin Roller Girls Reserves as part of a double-header on Saturday February 4th. It was the first time for any of LKRG to take part in any kind of bout, and it was the first inter-league experience for Belfast Roller Derby. Lots o' news!!
In Limerick Roller Derby News:
In the last week we’ve changed our training venue and gone from 2 hours a week of training to four, it’s going to make a big difference. Also, post-training showers on Fridays is always A Good Thing as it will lead to post-training non-stinky socialising!
A bunch of skaters recently attended a boot camp in Galway and a Skate Clinic in Cork - awesomeness...
